History of the Vicious Ant Duke

The Duke lineage of mods from Vicious Ant was first introduced as "The Duke", a dual 18650 parallel mechanical mod, unique in its design and size, and especially with a top firing switch.

After a number of iterations of this mechanical variant, a regulated variant single 18650 variant was born, known as the "Duke SX", utilizing the Yihi SX350J chipset. A similar design language was used, with angular lines, and the signature top fire button.

Shortly thereafter, the Duke SX was upgraded with absolutely gorgeous wood blanks that were stabilized by Texas Blanks (who made Double R mods) as "The Duke Stabilized Wood". While these wood blanks were the most expensive available in the stabilized wood marketplace, the stabilization techniques and resins used by Texas Blanks was unparalleled, and still cannot be compared to this day.

After a hiatus of several years, the "Duke II" made it's reveal with a major glow up featuring a rounding out to the lines of the body shape for ergonomic comfort while maintaining its signature top fire button.

Shortly thereafter, the Duke II was released in this premium model, featuring gorgeous stabilized wood bodies, and titanium hardware for the top plate, faceplate, and bottom plate in both 18650 and 21700 battery sizes.

This particular unit features hybrid stabilized wood body, with a detailed wood burl of interesting edge figure dyed light purple, and integrated with hybrid acrylic resin elements of teal, blue, turquoise, and green that shines and reflects light in a way that makes it appear three dimensional as you move it in light.
