The SvoëMesto Kayfun Prime is a rebuildable tank atomizer specifically designed for mouth-to-lung vaping and that style's characteristic tighter air flow for a more cigarette-like experience. Six adjustable air flow levels allow users to select from a very tight draw, to a loose cigarette-style draw.

The Kayfun Prime is a pure "mouth to lung" atomizer. It inherits the functionality and design language of the Kayfun 5, but the inner life has been completely redesigned and tuned specifically for MTL vaping.

Featuring a unique Dark Silk finish that is different from the other Kayfun Prime Special Edition releases, the Dark Silk is a surface treatment method which has been developed in collaboration between dicodes and SvoëMesto for a perfectly matched pairing. The surface is prepared in a multi-stage blasting procedure before being DLC coated with a colour that is unique to this project. Due to harmonized processes, the surfaces of atomizer and the Dark Silk DLC Dani Mini by dicodes are identical every time, with a smooth matte finish that looks like... well... dark silk!

What is DLC Coating?

DLC stands for Diamond-Like Carbon. This method of coating is similar to PVD (Particle Vapour Deposition), but increases the molecular structure of the metal at its surface, making it as hard as diamond, creating a black, yet extremely hard-wearing and scratch resistant surface. This process of coating is typically used on luxury watches, and is the perfect treatment for an every day use device like this product.

PRIME

"Prime" means the original Kayfun experience meets modern day. The Kayfun Prime is a pure "mouth to lung" (MTL) atomizer, inheriting the functionality and design language of the Kayfun 5, but with the inner workings completely redesigned, tuned, and optimized specifically for MTL vaping.

The Kayfun series is known to produce some of the most exceptional and accurate flavour reproduction on the market, and the Kayfun Prime does not disappoint in this regard. Users will be greeted with true flavour in this easy to rebuild and wick atomizer.

The Kayfun Prime follows a similar design pattern as his little brother, the Kayfun Mini V3. A fully adjustable liquid control gives you full control over your liquid flow by turning the tank clockwise to close it down, or counter-clockwise to open it up. However, thanks to SvoëMesto’s pressure based feeding system, fine tuning is not required with the majority of setups. After closing the liquid control, the Kayfun Prime can be filled through the top. You can access your coil by removing the tank, regardless if it’s filled or not. The build deck features Kayfun's classic two post build deck style, which will easily hold a coil for this style of low wattage vaping.

Filling the tank is also made easy. Just close off the juice flow completely by turning the tank clockwise, then unscrew the top cap, fill your liquid, re-attach the top cap, then open the juice flow control back up by turning the tank counter-clockwise.

A redesigned evaporation chamber makes it smaller than the Kayfun 5's, which yields greater flavour production on mouth to lung vaping.

The Kayfun Prime is made from the same high class materials as all of the other Kayfun tanks.

The surface has a brushed stainless steel finish, and includes both a full stainless steel tank as well as a borosilicate (Pyrex) glass tank.

AIR FLOW CONTROL

The Kayfun Prime offers air flow control that is externally adjustable in 6 increments from 1mm to 2mm airflow.

LIQUID CONTROL AND FILLING

The Kayfun Prime gives you the option to restrict or close off the liquid flow completely, by turning the tank clockwise. At the fully closed position, you can open the top cap to conveniently fill the tank from the top through the large fill port. An air pocket in the top cap prevents spillage if the tank is filled beyond the maximum, and ensures an optimal liquid flow. Two full turns open the liquid control completely. Thanks to SvoëMesto's unique pressure based feeding system, this setting works for most builds, as it automatically feeds the right amount of e-liquid to your coil.

BUILD DECK AND EVAPORATION CHAMBER

The build deck has been sized to accommodate smaller builds that are typical for MTL use. The new air outlet distributes the available air stream over the entire length of the coil to eliminate temperature spikes and therefore creates a better flavour profile.

Along with the build deck, the evaporation chamber has shrunk as well, to condense the vapour and give you a rich and flavourful experience, even at lower wattages.

The Kayfun Prime comes with two types of coil screws: Phillips head screw and slot head screw. These are not preinstalled, and the favoured type can be selected from the supplied replacement kit.
