Polished Black DLC Top Cap Set for Engine RDA by Armor Mods

This original top cap set for the Armor Engine RDA is polished then coated in black DLC for a rich and lustrous looking setup.

DLC stands for Diamond-Like Carbon, a unique coating process that displays some properties similar to diamond, such as the hardness and medically inert, while bonding extremely well to materials like stainless steel. This means a high durability that does not scratch, chip, nor wear off like other coatings would, on stainless steel. Applied in a process somewhat similar to PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), DLC is an even more resistant (but more expensive) finishing process. These are the only two methods known to reliably, and durably blacken stainless steel.

Includes main cap and top cap / minor airflow adjustment cap.

WARNING: It is highly recommend that you fully clean out this product before the first time you use it. While the factory does a decent job at removing dust, shavings, machining lubricants and greases, there is still the potential for trace elements to remain, and it is best recommended that you do an additional cleaning to meet your standard of cleanliness.
