Taifun GT IV (GT4) "Storm" (2025) RTA

Since 2018, the Taifun® GT IV (GT4) has been considered to be the benchmark for single-coil rebuildable atomizers in terms of flavour, handling, and performance for many users. Its success and popularity spoke for itself. To mark its fifth anniversary since introduced to the market in 2018, the familiar Taifun knurling was replaced by the edges of the Taifun® GT V, as well as added the wire trap divots that were first introduced in the Taifun® GT IV "Titan Edition".

Now in 2025 the success of the Taifun GT IV is now being offered in various tank designs. This "Storm" variant comes with the tank shield cage that was released with the Titan GT IV 2019 "Storm" Edition.

The Taifun GT4 is the fourth iteration in the Taifun GT series, bringing a number of enhancements unlike any Taifun GT RTA before! Now with a large build deck and significantly larger air flow, allowing for the installation of large complex wire builds, and capable of higher wattage vaping.

Liquid flow control is integrated into the base itself. Turning the liquid flow control ring against the base will adjust the liquid flow aperture, and eliminates the need for proprietary keyed drip tips.

Note: Screwing the tank section too tight down on to the tank base will result in locking the liquid flow control ring in place. Be sure to only screw on the tank section while the liquid flow control ring is fully closed, and do not over tighten the tank on to the base. Leaving a bit of room will allow you to maintain the ability to rotate the liquid flow control ring.

Air flow is easily adjusted by turning the air flow control ring at the base of the deck.

The revised build deck in the Taifun GT IV 2023 RTA has now reduced the wire trap locations to FOUR, eliminating the middle location as found on the original deck. As well, an indent is machined into the bottom of each post location to allow wire legs to be trapped for easier building.

Six air outlet ports direct air flow to strike the coil from underneath the coil at an angle from both sides of the coil, fully enveloping the coil in air, resulting in very flavourful vapour production.

Top cap easily removes for top filling. TO fill the atomizer, close the liquid flow control. Then, while holding the liquid flow control ring, you can remove the top cap. The threading of the top cap is long to allow users to only unscrew the cap far enough to create a gap to insert liquid bottle nozzle. Or for easier filling, if convenient, the cap can be fully removed and placed to the side. This is useful when there is no clean surface available for you to place the cap down onto.

5 mL for all variants with a metal cage over borosilicate glass tank.
6mL for the "XL version" that uses the 6mL PCTG tank (you can also convert this version to this 6mL PCTG tank via optional purchase).
3mL for the "XS version" that uses the 3mL XS Nano Drop Tank (you can also convert this version to this 3mL tank via optional purchase).

Note: The Taifun GT IV is not designed for use on pure hybrid mech mods. The 510 center pin is NOT adjustable, and should not be released for this purpose.

Special Notes:

Please always ensure, especially after replacing the tank glass or after complete disassembly for cleaning, that you always tighten the chimney/tankcap down on to the shield as far as it will go, before assembling the tank assembly onto the deck. Otherwise, the liquid control may become blocked. If the liquid control becomes too stiff, please check:

Whether the small locator grub screw under the liquid control ring has become loose
The chimney / tankcap is tightened to the maximum stop
The correct o-ring (17x1mm) is installed on the liquid control ring.

To increase durability and functionality, all o-rings are lubricated from factory with neutral glycerin. If you witness any moisture on your product, this is perfectly normal and not a sign of previous use. Rather, it is a sign of care and attention to the assembly of your product.

NOTE: It is highly recommend that you fully clean out this product before the first time you use it. While the factory does a decent job at removing dust, shavings, machining lubricants and greases, there is still the potential for trace elements to remain, and it is best recommended that you do an additional cleaning to meet your standard of cleanliness.
