Black Pearl Mellody Box SC #218 by Loud Cloud Mods

The "SC" stands for "Squonk Convert", as a batch of the Mellody Squonk bodies were converted into standard 510 mods. All of the bottom feeding (squonk) capabilities were removed along with the MOSFET chipset, and a DNA60 small screen chipset was installed in a clever way, thus, converting a MOSFET squonk mod into a standard 510 DNA60 box mod with small screen.

Despite the name, this is NOT a squonk mod!

This "Black Pearl" variant is made of media blasted Delrin, with a stainless steel mid plate that has been black coated.

This particular unit has serial number 218.

Note: Due to the characteristics of black Delrin, it may appear chalky when dry (as in these photos). With use, your hand oils as well as condensation from vapour will keep the Delrin moisturized and with a rich black appearance. Alternatively, you may condition the Delrin with some e-liquid or 100% VG to keep it fully moisturized.

Please note, that while this Mellody Box SC is outfitted with a USB connector, like all Mellody Boxes that have a USB connector (V2, SC), the USB port is not intended for charging your battery. It is meant to be a data port only. Because all wiring and contacts are copper gold plated, there may be an over-current on the DNA chipset, resulting in damage.
