Timascus Button for Armor Mech by Form Custom

This custom Timascus Armor Mech Button is made by Form Custom, 100% machined, finished, and heat-coloured in America, using 100% American-forged Timascus billets by AKS.

What is Timascus?

Timascus is a titanium version of Damascus Steel, sold by Alpha Knife Supply (AKS) and protected with a patent. The process of forging an AKS Timascus billet uses a secret process, but it allows patterns of different layers of titanium alloys to be formed in the titanium composite. The composite can then be heated and the various alloy layers will colour at different rates, creating the different and interesting colour patterns.

Installation Notes

This product is designed to be a direct replacement for your original Armor Mech button, and requires you to transfer the ring magnet from your original button to this button. When fully screwed in place, it acts as an additional safety to prevent firing. Unscrew it counter-clockwise by 180 degrees to allow it to fire when pressed. Be aware that neither Form Custom nor Vapes by Enushi will be responsible for any damage caused on your behalf. We highly recommend you remove the top plate from your Armor Mech to gain full access to the switch assembly, so that the internal switch contact can be held in proper position before screwing this button in. If you do not screw the button in to the contact straight, you risk stripping the threads of the switch contact.

Please note that due to the bright multi-faceted and coloured nature of Timascus, it will yield different looks and colours under different lighting conditions. While we do our best to accurately display what each unit looks like, be aware that we cannot guarantee that your unit that you choose will look exactly the same as these photos under your own lighting conditions. Different lighting temperatures and lighting powers will affect the visibility and colour spectrum of Timascus.
