Taifun GTC - GTX Variant

With the new Taifun® GTC, the GT series is growing to fulfil a need of the drop-in coil segment. For the first time, a real Taifun is designed for use with ready-made coils, and opens up a viable usability for discerning users who seek high quality, without having the need to build and wick your own coils.

Due to a change by dotmod, the newest batch of dotCoils no longer fit in the Taifun GTC. For this reason, the newest batches of the Taifun GTC have been adapted so that the coil holder can now accept the >> Vaporesso GTX coils <<. From now on, the Taifun GTC is only available with this coil holder.

Automatic Liquid Control

By rotating the top cap to fill, the liquid control automatically closes to prevent flooding of the coil. Removal of the top cap is not required to fill, as the action opens up a side filling port. The Taifun® GTC uses a side fill port similar to what is found on the Taifun GX and Taifun GT V. This fill port makes it easier to fill while on-the-go, and not having to mind where you put down or hold the top cap.

PCT-G Tank

The Taifun® GTC is the first Taifun to be equipped with a PCT-G tank window. In contrast to PSU, there are no restrictions on the use of liquids with nicotine salts, with zero compromise in terms of food safety.

Easiest Operation

In addition to the automatic liquid control, the Taifun® GTC is designed for the simplest operation. Draw resistance can be adjusted to your own needs using the AFC (Air Flow Control) ring. Various bores with diameters of 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, and a milling that corresponds to a 2.3mm bore are available. While the tank system is equipped with a bayonet connection for the liquid control, the base is unscrewed to replace the coil. The coil can therefore be easily changed from below, even when the tank is filled with liquid.

The Taifun® GTC is primarily aimed at demanding users who prefer a reliable and high quality coil atomizer in the open MTL to restricted DL airflow ranges with either freebase or nicotine salt liquids. Even with high nicotine strengths, the Taifun® GTC delivers a pleasant and gentle vape experience, thanks to the flavour-focused Vaporesso GTX coils, unfolding the full aroma of your liquid even at moderate power levels.

Special Instructions:

Attention: The higher performance GTX coils (0.15Ω, 0.2Ω, 0.3Ω) will NOT fit in the Taifun GTC. You can visually recognize these ccoils by the wider collar and the missing o-ring at the top. Only the following Vaporesso GTX coils will fit:

• 0.4Ω MESH
• 0.6Ω MESH
• 0.8Ω MESH
• 1.2Ω MESH
• 1.2Ω REGULAR

In order to completely disassemble the tank for cleaning/servicing, the top cap MUST be adjusted to the correct position first. Only in this position can the elements of the tank unit be separated from one another or reassembled. In the PCT-G tank, there are locators that prevent incorrect assembly of the coil nest.

Note on Appearance Upon Delivery:

This tank may appear to be "wet" when it arrives to you. It is not because this was previously used, it is not machining oil, nor is it due to dirty/greasy hands. Since the beginning, Taifun has always lubricated all o-rings in all of their atomizers with 100% vegetable glycerin (VG) to prevent torn o-rings during assembly and first usage. VG does tend to creep across surfaces, so while it was only applied to the o-rings during assembly, it may still "creep" or travel across surfaces to other areas of the atomizer. You may wipe the surfaces if you wish to dry it up, or you may wash it completely first if you desire. Just ensure that when you reassemble, to apply some e-liquid to the o-rings.

Usage Notes and Warnings:

NOTE: It is highly recommend that you fully clean out this product before the first time you use it. While the factory does a decent job at removing dust, shavings, machining lubricants and greases, there is still the potential for trace elements to remain, and it is best recommended that you do an additional cleaning to meet your standard of cleanliness.

DISCLAIMER: While PCTG components have a fairly high chemical attack resistance that is much stronger than acrylic (PMMA), polycarbonate (PC), or even Ultem 1000 (PEI), there have been some instances where extremely high concentration levels of very aggressive liquids may still cause "crazing"/spider-webbing/cracking. Some flavourings have a phenolic compound that is extremely aggressive towards plastics such as (but are not all inclusive of this list): organic vanilla, cinnamon, banana, menthol, apple, anise, licorice, and citrus based liquids. While this product is made from a high grade of PCT-G, there is no guarantee it can resist cracking against such liquids, and Vapes by Enushi will not provide any type of warranty against damage from these types of liquids.
