The Dani SBS18350USB-C by dicodes is an ultra-compact Side-By-Side mod now with a built-in USB-C charge port for fast on-the-go charging capability, as it was found that not all users preferred to use the wireless Qi charging capabilities of the Dani SBS18350Qi wireless charging variant.
Positioning the atomizer (up to 24mm diameter) beside the battery tube of the unit allows for a very stout and compact setup.
Single-button control with Extreme V3 chip set allows users to easily navigate the very in-depth menu options allowing for full user control over multiple preferences.
24mm diameter 510 landing pad can fit up to 24mm diameter atomizers flush.
Comes with 18350 battery tube AND the 18650 tube, but optional 18490/18500 tube can be purchased separately >>HERE<<.
With the included 18350 battery tube, the approximate drop from the top of the battery tube to the 510 landing pad is 20.30mm (measured with KeepPower 1200mAh Flat Top cell - your measurements may vary slightly depending on the battery used).
With taller battery tubes, the drop to 510 connector will increase accordingly, however, users can compensate for this with the optionally purchased >> SBS 2415 - 510 Extension <<, which is a 24mm tube that extends the height of the 510 landing pad by 15mm.
The chipset used is a 60 Watt temperature controlled unit that can be used with multiple wire types which have a temperature coefficient. The menu offers four different operating modes, allowing the user to switch between variable wattage, variable wattage with heat protection (10 options), variable wattage with power boost (10 options), bypass mode (power limited by output current <20A), or the (very) accurate variable temperature mode (when using a temp-control wire type.)
For temperature control, dicodes mods are ideally used with the >> dicodes ResisTherm (NiFe30) wire <<. A small sample length of this wire is included with each purchase, but more can be purchased separately >>HERE<<.
The body is made entirely of stainless steel, giving a sturdy and solid feel in your hand, with a brushed finish to match most atomizers. The bottom plate which was previously plastic on the wireless charging Qi variant, is now made of matching stainless steel to give this mod a full feeling of heft and sturdiness.
The SBS18350USB-C is precision machined in Germany and backed by a two year warranty on the electronics*.

*Warranty Terms
Two year warranty covers manufacturing faults within the electronic component of the device only. Opening the device, other than the battery cap to change the battery, will void the warranty. Warranty will also not cover neglect caused by the user, such as setting the device down on liquid (which may short out the circuit against the charging contacts at the bottom), or liquid leaking out of the user's atomizer which may seep into the body and contact the electronics/plate. Liquid seeping in to dicodes mods have been known to cause a short circuit. Take care to NOT place this mod on to a wet surface, or if you encounter a liquid leak, to ensure the bottom plate is removed to clean up any accumulated liquid from the bottom and ensuring it is dry before re-inserting a battery. Any damages as a result of such neglect can be repaired, however, will be at the user's cost for shipment and repair.
Please Note: In order for the temperature control settings to function, a coil made from NiFe30, Titanium, Ni200, Tungsten, adjustable ("other“) wire must be used, no exceptions. Coils made with Standard Nichrome or Kanthal A1 wire will only support wattage mode, so the temperature control feature cannot be utilized.
